From 2010 to 2014 Philip studied at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. Philip graduated with a BA in Project Management and Information Technology and started his career in the aviation industry in Austria. Philip is responsible for the Project Management Office (PMO) at Austria’s leading Aviation company, overseeing the strategic project portfolio.
Philip started to “educate” himself about financial markets in 2016 initially focusing on long-term index fund investing and a buy, hold and accumulate strategy. He also learned technical analysis and price action in an attempt to change his focus to shorter term Trading, but realized fast that staring at charts all day wouldn’t make him money. He also read many of the popular books about investing and dabbled in some low-level online investing and trading “education,” but after a number of years he wasn’t satisfied with his progress. He realized much of the education and information he was consuming was too random and not systematic enough for him to gain consistent profitability as an Investor or a Trader.
His experience however didn’t go to waste as it made him realize where his passion was He became overly interested in turning himself into a successful trader. This set Philip on the hunt for a repeatable and systematic process which he finally found at ITPM.
After completing the first version of the Professional Trading Masterclass Video Series (PTM 1.0) in 2019, Philip opened and funded his trading account. He traded for a year on his own unsupervised, trying to implement the theory that he learnt in the Video Series. Over the Covid pandemic period he survived and his PnL was flat over the first year. In March 2021 however he decided to step up his game and book the Thailand Trader Mentoring Program in April 2022 with Anton Kreil as his mentor in the classroom and for 12 weeks afterwards.
Before the Thailand Trader Mentoring Program started, Philip did the PTM version 2.0, IPLT, and POTM Video Series’ to prepare himself for the Program. He also used the time to organize and improve his process by constantly generating new trade ideas to get the maximum out of his mentoring program with Anton.
During the 2022 Thailand Trader Mentoring Program, Philip was ranked amongst the best students of Antons’ class. His results were so good that Anton asked him to do a webinar to showcase his results and talents as a new student at ITPM. Readers can view this Webinar on YouTube CLICK HERE.
Since then, Philip has continued to be a consistently profitable Retail Trader throughout different market conditions i.e. when the market goes up and down, all whilst holding down a full-time job at the aviation company he works for. Recently, due to his trading success, Phil has managed to reduce his main career work week to only 4 days per week. Trading for Phil has now become a second profession and has created multiple opportunities for him. Phil hopes to help ITPM students develop their skills to become consistently profitable traders and to provide inspiration and motivation for students to
attain the successes he has enjoyed.
Phillip now joins ITPM as a consultant Junior Trading Mentor, supporting ITPM Senior Trading Mentors and ITPM students during their Trader Mentoring Programs.
