Alessandro holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy, 2006) and an Executive MBA, cum laude, from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland (2019). He began his professional career in the automotive industry, where he held various positions until 2021. Subsequently, he transitioned to the IT sector, where he currently oversees greenfield client acquisition for one of the world’s leading cloud hyperscaler.

Alessandro began studying financial markets in 2018. His initial exposure involved trading futures. While the experience was rewarding, the requirement to spend up to twelve hours a day in front of a screen proved demanding and did not align with his vision of professional flexibility. He subsequently continued his education through a year-long private mentorship from a retired Professional Trader from the industry. He realized that much of the education and information he was consuming was too wide, unfocused and not accessible to retail traders due to financial market’s barriers to entry, making it difficult to achieve sustainable profitability as trader.

Alessandro then connected the ITPM and decided to enrol directly in the 2024 Thailand Trader Mentoring Program. He proactively began preparing seven months in advance by reviewing and analysing the three pre-requisite video series provided by the ITPM. He started with the IPLT Video Series, which offered a comprehensive overview of both the opportunities and challenges within the retail trading industry, followed by both the PTM and POTM Video Series, which established the appropriate framework in preparation for the Thailand Program. Alessandro funded his account prior to attending the Thailand program but did not begin constructing his long-short options portfolio until he started 12-week program after his 10 days classroom training in Thailand. During the 2024 Thailand Trader Mentoring Program, Alessandro was mentored on the 2024 Thailand Trader Mentoring Program by Edward Shek and Anton Kreil.

Since then, Alessandro has maintained outsized returns and consistent profitability as an independent Retail Trader, implementing the ITPM Long / Short Equity Options Portfolio Management approach extremely successfully across varying market conditions, all while managing a full-time career in the IT industry. Trading has effectively become a second profession for Alessandro. Alessandro is committed to helping ITPM students develop the skills needed to become consistently profitable traders, while also providing inspiration and motivation to achieve the same level of success he has attained

Alessandro now joins ITPM as Junior Trading Mentor, supporting ITPM Senior Trading Mentors and ITPM students during their Trader Mentoring Programs.
